AMAZING textbook. Cognition is one of the harder subjects ...

AMAZING textbook. Cognition is one of the harder subjects in psychology, but this text makes it a lot easier and interesting. It's worth the money - trust me. I also like the size of this textbook. It's a great size and weight that isn't annoying to have to carry around if you have to bring it to classes.

The book has a lot of information, I just find it to be dry. I am highly interested in the topic, but reading this seems like pulling teeth. There must be a more interesting way to introduce interesting topics.

Exceptionally Written

This was a textbook for one of my psychology classes and I found it to be exceptionally well-written. The interplay between raw scientific data and amusing tidbits of knowledge was well-balanced. This is a book that could be unbelievably tedious to read, but I found most chapters to be a joy. While a Memory and Cognition class can be fascinating it is often dull--but this book is anything but. Granted there's a bit of terminology that can bog you down at times, but I like a challenge when I read. This book is a keeper.
